Eligibility:

• Open to UK-registered micro or small businesses within the creative industries.
• Proposals must demonstrate a clear benefit to the creative sector and the UK economy, address a specific opportunity, and show how the funding will impact business growth within 12 months.

Project Requirements:

• The innovation should address an industry challenge, be market-ready within 12 months post-completion, and offer significant improvement over current offerings.
• Proposals should aim to create new revenue streams (products, services, IP) and demonstrate value for money.
• All subsectors of creative industries are welcome, with encouragement for underrepresented areas like architecture, crafts, and photography.

Application Process:

• Complete the Application Questions.
• Include a 2-minute video hosted on Vimeo or YouTube, outlining the innovation, its market, and why your team is best suited to address it.

Specific Themes:

Projects should focus on one or more of the following subsectors:

• advertising and marketing
• animation
• architecture
• arts and culture
• crafts
• design
• fashion
• film, TV and video
• games
• publishing
• music and radio
• visual art and photography

Exclusions:

• Projects not led by eligible UK businesses, exceeding £50,000, heavily reliant on subcontractors, outside the specified creative subsectors, or not utilising the full award package are ineligible.
