Your proposal should:

1. Propose solutions to identified challenges, having previously assessed feasibility.

2. Show potential to foster economic growth within the Cardiff Capital Region.

3. Engage in knowledge sharing with Media Cymru and the wider media community.

4. Promote innovation in the development of new products, services, and experiences in the media sector.

5. Resonate with the four key pillars of Media Cymru: Growth, Global, Fair, and Green.

Portfolio Approach

A diverse set of projects are sought across varying technological levels and geographical areas, with a particular focus on ongoing advancements in virtual production and the utilization of immersive technologies.

Specific Themes

Projects can delve into one or more of these areas:

• Immersive storytelling innovations: VR, AR, XR, and MR.
• Exploring intersections between Virtual Production and traditional production.
• Scalable and adaptable Virtual Production solutions.
• Sustainable and accessible Virtual Production strategies.

Projects Not Funded

Projects that are early-stage R&D, content creation, general business development, or one-off art commissions won't be funded. Proposals not showcasing innovative advancements, economic viability, adherence to the four pillars, or not aligned with the competition's scope also won't qualify.
