- Emerging Technology Areas: Particularly encourage applications in:
- Quantum
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Semiconductor Applications
- Engineering Biology
- Future Telecommunications
- Green Technologies, including hydrogen and battery technologies
- Demonstrate Innovation: Projects must be game-changing or disruptive, leading to new products, processes, or services.
- Economic Impact: Show potential for significant economic impact and return on investment within 2 to 3 years post-project completion.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through theInnovate UK Innovation Funding Service (IFS) portal by the deadline. Applicantsshould provide:
- A detailed project plan outlining the innovation and its market potential.
- Evidence of collaboration with a German SME, including how the partnership adds value.
- Clear definitions of intellectual property (IP) usage and sharing between UK and German participants.
- Financial plans and timelines demonstrating good value for money.
Note: Germanpartners must apply to AiF, acting as an agent for BMWK, under the equivalent German ZIM funding programme.
