Eligibility:

• UK registered micro, small, and medium enterprises.
• Projects at TRL 5 or above.

Project Requirements:

• Proposals must demonstrate project maturity, technology validation, and compatibility with UKBIC's pilot-line facilities.
• Use of UKBIC facilities for complete electrode and cell manufacturing process, testing, and novel software analytical methods.

Specific Themes:

• Complete electrode and cell manufacturing processes.
• Development and testing of cell to module and pack assembly processes.
• Reduction in manufacturing energy requirements.

Exclusions:

• Projects focusing on non-compatible materials or processes.
• Projects not at TRL 4 to 5.
• Projects dependent on export performance or domestic inputs usage.

Portfolio Approach: Funding a variety of projects across different technologies and markets.
