Women in innovation activities are created to boost and provide business support to women doing innovation. Our goal to increase the number of women engaging with Innovate UK providing bespoke support and breaking the existent barriers for women doing innovation.

We obtained great result so far but there is still a lot to do. The Women in Innovation programme kicked off in June 2016. At that time only 14% (1 in 7) Innovate UK applications were led by women. In the last 3years we saw 70% increase in the number of applications to Innovate UK led by women.
